Youtube recently announced what amounts to an open invitation to Youtube producers to apply to become members of the partnership program. If you are unaware, Youtube channel owners have always been able to share advertising revenue with Youtube (Google) by having ads place on their videos. Previously, this generally came about by invitation from Youtube if you had at least some volume views.

This question has been emailed to me a couple times in the past month, so I figure there are probably lot's of screenflow users wondering the same thing. The question is "Why are my view counts frozen?" specifically regarding Youtube views. Well after doing some research, I did find out that this DOES happen for a reason, and it happens because software has kicked in and sort of red-flagged your video.

Just this week, I mentioned on the screenflow blog (see Screenflow Makeover) how important it was to connect with other video producers so as to help you stay ahead of the curve. It doesn't mean sessions to crticize each other, but just talking ideas with someone else can turn just a little thought into an entrie video series, or succefuls Youtube channel perhaps.

I totally forgot I had this video on my channel and as such, forgot to post it on this screenflow tips blog. Anywho, this tutorial shows how to create and edit a unique transition for your screenflow production. This could be really useful if you are starting a video series, because it is so easy to just copy and paste the transition between projects.
